I enjoy opening up posts about my life with phrases like “waking up never felt so good” and “last night I met someone amazing,” but these introductions are quickly edited out. Cliched phrases rarely pack the strength or impact of other terms and phrases that are not as easy to track down.
There is much to be said about our use of language, including a laundy list about its “misuse,” but I am beginning to accept my own incorrect views. It appears to have missed my attention or understanding, but a case has been made for language being only able to be used appropriately, as long as it is the common understanding.
Three cheers for the L word.
